Taking breaks to focus longer

It might seem a bit backwards at first…

However, it’s well known that trying to focus for really long stretches at a time can leave you burnt out and unable to continue at the high level you want.

It’s the tortoise vs the hare brought to personal productivity.

When you want to focus for a long period and get more done, use breaks to go to the distance.

One way of doing this - use the Pomodoro method and a timer.

Instead of asking how many tasks you can tackle given your working hours, ask how many you can ditch given what you must do to excel.
